The hotel is located in a wonderful spot, beautifully taken care of, and offers regular avionette connections with the SJO airport. Although the rooms initially had a musty smell and the bathroom was not entirely clean upon arrival, the location is a definite highlight. However, the service, despite being pretty friendly overall, had some issues regarding respect towards family members, making the overall experience less comfortable than expected.
Upon arrival, I found the rooms to be quite musty and smelling wet, indicating they might not have been used for a while. The bathroom had a leaky toilet, which was a bit inconvenient, especially when it rained as the room felt super cold. However, despite these issues, the hotel's location was impeccable and the rooms, although in need of some freshening up, were quite spacious.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the rooms were comfortable and quiet, they did have a musty smell, indicating they might not have been used in a while. The initial cleanliness was not perfect, with a leak in the bathroom toilet upon my arrival. The service was accommodating and friendly overall, but there were instances where my 16-year-old daughter felt uncomfortable due to the staff's behavior. The location, although beautifully landscaped, could get crowded, especially at the beach area. Despite these aspects, the hotel struggled to maintain hygiene at times, as evidenced by the air conditioning issue on my last day. The dining options were satisfactory but lacked variety, with a noticeable absence of bacon during my 30-day stay.
The hotel offers a pleasant stay with clean and comfy rooms and friendly staff, although the dining options could be more varied. The location is excellent near the beach and dining venues. WiFi is not included in the price.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were horribly dirty and old, but the hotel's location was beautiful. I had issues with the service being extremely rude, but the dining experience was good overall. Facilities were lacking but the hotel had a good location.
